We recommend Ginger as a first line treatment for nausea on psychiatric medication, but not ginger ale. We're talking about ginger capsules. Now originally I thought that this was like an old wives tale, but it turns out there's a lot of evidence to support their use in nausea. There are randomized controlled trials where ginger capsules treated nausea in GI disorders chemotherapy patients in pregnancy.
